- MSL Therapist
- 1400 clock hours beyond therapist level
- 3 years minimum as MSL therapist
- knowlege of other MSL programs

- A minimum of 1400 teaching hours beyond certification (700 of
these hours may be accrued while completing the qualified instructor
program)
- Two completions of a structured, sequential, Orton-Gillingham
based curriculum
- Experience with students of various school levels and ages
- Experience with one-on-one as well as small group (preferably
no larger than 6) situations
- Documentation of academic language therapy experience

all facets of therapy training including:
- Lectures
- Practicums
- Record keeping
- Preparation for classes
- Teaching demonstration lessons
- Ten guided evaluations with written comments
- Ten independent evaluations with written comments
